Royal Jaisalmer Style Wedding of Sid-Kiara: All You Need To Know

Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot on February 7 in Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer in an intimate ceremony attended by family members and close friends. Fans were desperately waiting for the first glimpse of the couple after a long wait. The sumptuous hotel, owned and operated by company MD Manvendra Singh Shekhawat, is situated close to Thar Desert in Rajasthan.

Originally the wedding was supposed to take place on 6th February but was postponed to the next day i.e. 7th February. Some of the famous Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Juhi Chawla, and Isha Ambani were present for the wedding. From Punjabi, Rajasthani dishes to Mexican, Italian, Chinese and American dishes, a total of 100 different cuisines from 10 countries were served.

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani donned a beige gold sherwani and pink lehenga respectively for the D-day. The couple shared the post with the following caption :-

Initially, he worked on television serials and also worked as an assistant director for Karan Johar’s 2010 film ‘My Name Is Khan’ before bagging his lead role in Student of the Year (2012). He studied at Delhi’s Don Bosco School and Naval Public School. He graduated from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.

Kiara Advani (born 31 July 1991), also known as Alia Advani, has worked in both Hindi and Telugu films. She made her debut in ‘Fugly’ in 2014. She went on to appear in box-office hits like ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ in 2016, Bharat Ane Nenu in 2018 and Bhool Bhulaiya in 2022.

Kiara Advani has also worked in OTT movies like Lust Stories (2018) and Guilty (2020). But in Kabir Singh (2019), her work was widely recognized and appreciated by the critics in what was one of the highest grossing Hindi films of 2019.

Their chemistry in the movie left fans spellbound. Both looked stunning together as Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema and were oozing charm with their on-screen chemistry. Even the songs perfectly articulated and depicted their romance
