You may have laughed your heart out while watching the film Wedding Crashers, however when it comes to dealing with one in real life, it’s definitely not an amusing situation.
No matter how much you try, these wedding crashers always end up sneaking in and making the most of the free luxury. Annoying, we know. So if you’re planning your wedding or planning a relative’s wedding make sure you keep the crasher in mind.
Here’s how they can be spotted or avoided on your special day:
Not Dressed For The Occasion:
They are mostly underdressed and would carry some baggage with them if students. However, that doesn’t mean you go harass a relative who hasn’t dressed appropriately. Be very sure before you approach a person.
Lingers More Around Bar Or Buffet:
Some crashers just love to party and join the crowd for dance and drinks, while most of them linger around the buffet or bar section.
Avoids Getting Photographed:
Whenever a photographer is around, they run in the opposite direction. You would mostly see them avoid the camera or excusing themselves from the group photos.

They Look Weirdly Cautious:
While some may be pro at crashing parties, while other look weirdly cautious of being caught all the time. These crashers can easily be spotted in the crowd.
1. If you have a doubt about a person being a crasher at your party, approach them with ‘I Don’t Think We’ve Met Before?‘ line. It always works.
2. Provide the venue receptions with a guests list and ask them to tick off names of people on entry or you could ask your guests to carry the wedding card with them. This way, there’s no chance of wedding crashing at all.3. If in case you do come across a crasher, ask them to leave politely or ask the venue staff to escort them out quietly as you do not want a scene at the wedding.
